Five Causes of Death of Overwintering Fish Species

During the wintering of fish species, especially in small fish ponds, the general mortality rate is as high as 10% to 20%. The causes of death are as follows.

Small fish species and poor health: During the wintering period, most of the fish do not generally feed, have less activity, and have slow metabolism. It mainly sustains the accumulation of fat, protein and other nutrients in fish. In particular, fish species with too small specifications have poor health and cause death due to diseases such as infection with water mold during the process of pulling nets and pooling.

Severe oxygen deficiency in water bodies: Causes of lack of oxygen are caused by thin pools of water, low numbers of phytoplankton; in water bodies due to fertilization, feeding, and accumulation of metabolites in fish, organic matter increases, oxygen consumption is too high; wild fish is too much or stocked Excessive density of fish species causes hypoxia; life or factory sewage flows into the water body, resulting in a large amount of oxygen consumption resulting in insufficient dissolved oxygen; poor soil water retention performance, a large drop in water level, shallow water causing hypoxia, and reduced fish activity space.

Injury to the fish: When pulling the net and pond, due to poor operation, the fish may be injured or the scales may be wiped off; the invasion of the bacteria is also easy to die.

Poor management: Failure to check the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water body, fish movements and changes in the water body, or found that the adverse state has not been promptly taken any remedial measures, resulting in the death of fish species. Overwintering ponds, shallow water levels, excessive ice thickness, and ice and snow cover can also cause oxygen deficiency in the pool water and cause the fish to suffocate and die.

Improper water injection or oxygenation: blindly circulating flushing water or increasing oxygen for a long time causes the pond water temperature to rapidly drop, and the fish is frozen and frozen to death.

Royal Jelly

Royal Jelly is also called Bee Milk. The fresh royal jelly is slightly ropy milk paste substance; it is the excretive mixture of nutrition gland and maxilla gland of the head of little worker bee. The worker bees use this to feed the 1-3 days` worker bee larva and drone larva, 1-5.5 days` queen bee larva and queen bee in the oviposition period. The royal jelly is the biologic product containing very complicated active elements which contains almost all the nutrition elements required by the growth of the human body.
