Although the currency devaluation in these countries stimulates exports, the increase in output will support the increase in domestic meat production to a certain extent. The question is whether these countries have the capacity to build infrastructure projects for storage, transportation and domestic crushing.

According to the report, China’s demand for soybeans will continue to be strong in the next ten years, but it will be weaker than the increase in the past decade. China's investment in crushing plants will further increase the relative importance of imported soybeans and weaken the demand for soybean meal imports. Since soybean and soybean meal import prices are expected to be lower than the recent highs, this will further stimulate imports.
