Fertility regulation at all stages of rice growth

The growth period of rice can be roughly divided into: emergence period, tillering period, jointing period, booting period, heading period, flowering period and filling maturity period, and the demand for nutrients is different in each growth period.

Nitrogen Absorption: Rice has two distinct peaks for nitrogen uptake. One is the tillering period of rice, which is two weeks after transplanting. The second is 7-8 weeks after transplanting. At this time, if there is insufficient nitrogen supply, it will often cause spikelets. Degradation is not conducive to high yield.

Phosphorus Absorption: Phosphorus uptake by rice is much lower than that of nitrogen fertilizer, with an average of about half the amount of nitrogen. It is most abundant in the seedling stage and tillering stage, and it is the absorption peak around 3 weeks after transplanting.

Absorption of potassium: The demand of rice for potassium is higher than that of nitrogen, indicating that rice needs more potassium. The peak of potassium absorption is from the peak of tillering to the jointing stage, and the demand for potassium is the greatest at this time.
