Disney began offering alcoholic beverages

For the first time in 41 years, Disney Mickey Kingdom Theme Park has provided visitors with wine and beer - but only for meal times. Since the establishment of the park, there has been a ban on alcohol, but Disney managers opened the ban after opening a new French themed restaurant in the park. The restaurant is called Be Our Guest.

Maribeth Bisienere, Vice President of Food & Beverage at Walt Disney Parks, said: "People can't leave without having a glass of wine when they enter a French restaurant. It's better than nothing to do."

The restaurant decorates scenes from the Disney movie Beauty and the Beast. Although the restaurant is open all day and serves French cuisine like a fast food restaurant, alcohol is only available in the evening and the restaurant is more like a bar. The restaurant wine list has 20 wines from France and California and 4 beer from France and Belgium.

Disney's other venues have already started selling alcoholic drinks. Earlier this year, the Future World Science and Technology Museum opened a new Italian-themed wine bar, allowing French tourists to enter the Disneyland Paris restaurant with alcoholic beverages.
