How to Prevent Pleurotus ostreatus Pollution

Pleurotus ostreatus is very resistant to the contamination of bacteria, but the production of raw materials used to cultivate more, many bacteria often in a high temperature, humid, acidic and poor ventilation environment, a large number of breeding, flooding, resulting in reduced or no harvest. Common pests of Pleurotus ostreatus are Penicillium, Trichoderma, Mucor, and Rhizopus. Comprehensive prevention and control measures must be taken to prevent contamination with germs.
1. Timely cultivation, timely sowing of low temperature is not conducive to the growth of mold, so to choose sowing under low temperature conditions. The sowing period in spring can be appropriately advanced and the autumn should be postponed. In theory, the optimum temperature for the growth of Pleurotus ostreatus mycelium is 25°C, which is suitable for the sterilized medium, but when the raw material is cultivated, the suitable temperature for mold (25°C-30°C) should be avoided. It has been proved that mushroom mycelium grows quickly below 20°C, and it is safer to sow at low temperatures.
2. To prevent contamination of the source of bacterial contamination must be selected fresh, dry, no mildew, no pests. Before the ingredients are fully exposed in the hot sun for 2 to 3 days.
3. Choose fine, robust pure strains so that you can use your hands to gently pulverize the strains into pieces of corn kernel size. Do not crush them by hand so as not to damage the mycelia and ensure that the mycelium recovers quickly, and the vigor and development are good.
4. Appropriately increasing the seeding rate is mainly to increase the seeding amount of the culture material surface, and the mushroom mushroom mycelium can be rapidly grown and developed, and the culture material surface can be covered earlier. This is also an effective measure to prevent fungal invasion.
5. After planting, the suitable temperature for controlling the temperature of the greenhouse is 25°C to 30°C, and the management temperature must not exceed 22°C. The temperature in the culture medium should not exceed 25°C, so that the mold has no chance. The thickness of the culture material in the hot season should be appropriate and should not be too thick to avoid high temperature damage.
6. The moisture content of the culture material should be generally controlled between 60% and 65%. When mixing materials, the ratio of material to water is preferably 1:1.3 to 1.5. Excessive dry and over-wetness is unfavorable to the growth of Pleurotus ostreatus. Cultivation materials are too wet and poor ventilation is an important cause of mold infection.
7. Adjust the pH of the culture medium to be mildly acidic (pH 5 to 5.5) so that 1% lime powder can be added when the ingredients are added so that the pH of the culture medium is 6.8 to 7. This can not only inhibit the growth of mold, but also increase the calcium in the material, is conducive to the growth of mushroom mycelium.
8. The use of chemical agents to control common carbendazim powders in the market with 25% and 50% wettability, can be used 0.1% ~ 0.05% concentration of liquid spices, can effectively inhibit the contamination of bacteria; clotrimodium, It is also good to prevent bacteria from bacteria.
9. With lime powder to prevent bacteria from fear of alkali, such as culture materials appear Green mold, Streptomyces and other bacteria, can be spread on the surface of the culture layer of 0.2 to 0.3 cm thick lime powder. The flour surface is larger than the polluted surface. After the mold is killed, the material surface can still produce fruit.
